West Auckland Town Football Club is one of the most significant clubs in English Football history. They won “The First World Cup”. Twice.

And it was only played twice. On this occasion Moving Adverts approached the club to offer support in a charitable gesture to help the team build a reputation online.

/ Execution

We first branded the club and proceeded to make short social media clips to share story online. Our style was rough and rugged, reflecting history clashing with modern day.

A series of clips were made with a complete Moving Adverts documentary in progress featuring the people who know the historic story and the club today.

/ Result

Social media activity ramped up and reach has begun to spread worldwide. Our first global sponsorship deal came in from Las Vegas, which is great for the club and will only accelerate its growth.

Middle East interest is being seeded now and we will tailor clips to that market to continue our growth curve.
